Under general supervision, the IT Technician will provide support to end users on a variety of IT issues. Identify, research, and resolve IT technical problems. Respond to IT related telephone calls and email requests for service. The position requires the ability to travel to all branch locations and may require work outside of normal business hours. The IT technician will document, track and monitor the problems to ensure a timely resolution.



  • Provide help desk/technical support in-person, through email and over the phone.
  • Configure, maintain, and support PCs and laptops.
  • Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot a variety of software and hardware.
  • Manage email accounts for PCs and mobile devices.
  • Keep accurate accounting of all computers, computer software, and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot remote access issues.
  • Install and support network printers and copiers.
  • Setup and troubleshoot mobile devices such as iPhones and iPads.
  • Document strategic discussions and distribute timely reports and minutes based on meeting responsibilities.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.

  • Must have organizational skills and composure at all times, even in under pressure situations. Requires flexibility and adaptability to prioritize a fluctuating workload in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
  • Exercise customer confidentiality and discretionary judgment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, including installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with PC hardware including installation, troubleshooting, repairing and replacing.
  • Basic understanding of networking technologies and protocols such as basic IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VPN client configuration.
  • Requires a high level of proficiency in basic computer programs including Microsoft Office and Adobe with the ability to learn new software.
  • Requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills including the ability to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical people.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well. Arithmetic ability to perform basic calculations involving the use of decimals and percentages.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of applicable Association Policies and Federal Regulations including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act, Customer Identification Program, Office of Foreign Assets Control, Privacy, Rights to Financial Privacy, Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Lending, Fair Housing Act, ECOA, RESPA, HPML, Truth in Lending and HMDA.



  • Requires High school diploma, GED or equivalent skills.
  • Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. 
  • 12 to 18 months related technical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be bondable.



Duties are performed in usual office conditions. Ability to operate standard office equipment including personal computer, standard keyboard, 10-key calculator and work a standard shift with repetitive wrist and hand movements. Ability to talk and hear. Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time. Occasionally lift, move or carry items up to 15 lbs. Ability to concentrate on the matter at hand, under sometimes distracting work conditions. Requires manual dexterity and handling ability. Use hands and arms to finger, handle, grab and reach. Specific vision abilities including close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Work may involve eye strain due to constant use of computer screens. Occasional walking, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and bending. Ability to be mobile office-wide for various business needs.
